Careers

Help kids get money, one mission at a time.

We are a small team in Columbus, Ohio building an AI product for children, which means every hire matters twice: once for the work and once for the care. Three roles are open.

Why join

Three honest reasons

  • A product kids ask to play again

You will watch a seven-year-old argue with an AI shopkeeper about the price of lemonade and then explain profit to their parent. That is the job.

  • Small team, real ownership

We are 9 people. Everyone talks to parents, everyone reviews child-safety rules, and everyone ships.

  • AI, done carefully

We build on language models every day, inside a frame strict enough for children. If you want to do AI work you can explain to your own family, this is it.

How we work

Columbus HQ, remote across US time zones

  • Headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Half the team is here, half is remote across US time zones.

  • Core hours 11 to 3 Eastern. Outside that, work when you work best.

  • One in-person week per quarter in Columbus, travel covered.

  • Health, dental, and vision. Four weeks of vacation plus the week between Christmas and New Year.

  • Equity for every full-time role. Transparent salary bands shared in the first conversation.

  • Kids welcome on calls. Half of us have them; the other half are the test audience's favorite uncles and aunts.

Open roles

Three seats at the folding table

  • Full time

    Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Own the mission engine, the parent app, and the glue between them. TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, and a model layer that has to be boring and reliable.

    • Ship across the stack, from the turn schema to the progress view
    • Keep the model layer provider-agnostic and the fallbacks authored
    • Make child mode faster, calmer, and harder to break
    • Review every safety-relevant change with the CTO
    • 5+ years building web products; experience with language-model APIs welcome
  • Full time

    Learning Designer for Kids

Design the worlds. Write the scenarios, the age guides, and the authored fallback turns, then test them with real kids and real parents.

    • Design new mission worlds from a money skill outward
    • Tune language and numbers for the three age bands
    • Run small playtests in Columbus classrooms and living rooms
    • Turn what kids actually say into better debriefs and parent questions
    • Background in elementary education, curriculum design, or children's media
  • Full time

    Parent Community Lead

Be the voice parents hear. Run support, write the help center and the blog, and bring what families tell you straight into the roadmap.

    • Answer support with warmth and speed, then fix the cause
    • Write for parents: help articles, the blog, the weekly conversation starter
    • Host small parent groups online and in Columbus
    • Report what families need to the whole team every week
    • Experience in community, support, or writing for families
