Changelog

What changed, and why.

Every release that touches a kid's screen or a parent's view gets a note here. Newest first.

  1. The Giving Jar world

    • New

The Giving Jar, our fifth world, is live for every plan. Kids decide how much of their jar to give to a class shelter drive, whether to give money or time, and how to tell a friend without bragging.

    • New

Giving now appears as its own skill in the parent progress view, alongside earning, saving, spending, and waiting.

    • Improved

The parent note for every world now ends with exactly one dinner-table question. Earlier notes sometimes offered two, and parents told us one is better.

    • Fixed

On some tablets the typed-answer field could sit under the on-screen keyboard. It now scrolls into view when focused.

  2. Sibling challenges in Grow

    • New

Grow plan families can start a sibling challenge: two or more kids play the same world in the same week and the parent view shows the choices side by side. No scores, no winner, just a great conversation starter.

    • Improved

Model routing now falls through to a second provider in under two seconds when the first is slow, down from about eight. Fewer kids see the "thinking" coin spin.

    • Improved

Export now includes the typed answers from each mission in plain text, not only the choices.

    • Fixed

A rare case where a Free plan mission counted twice against the weekly limit when the browser was refreshed mid-mission.

  3. Kinder debriefs for ages 6 to 8

    • Improved

Debriefs for the 6 to 8 band are now capped at three sentences, use numbers under 20, and never open with what the kid did not do. Playtests with twelve families drove the change.

    • Improved

The post-check that scans model replies now also catches words like "wrong" and "should have" aimed at the child and sends the turn back for a retry.

    • New

Parents can flag any debrief from the parent view with one tap. Every flag is reviewed by a person within two business days.

    • Fixed

The Lemonade Stand occasionally referenced a price in dollars for the 6 to 8 band. It is coins only now, as intended.
